I’m a Product Designer & Engineer, 6+ years, owning design end to end for DeepPCB. My engineering background lets me speak dev and prototype in code when it helps.

Own design end to end for DeepPCB, an AI platform that automates PCB routing, cutting hardware engineers’ work from days to minutes.
Led DeepPCB’s redesign, which tripled monthly board uploads within a year. Alongside the AI and marketing teams’ work, the product has grown from near zero to 30k+ users and 60k+ uploaded boards.
Designed tools supporting BioNTech’s cancer vaccine research and a COVID-19 early warning system for detecting high-risk variants.
Introduced Rive, Lottie and Framer into the workflow, cutting development time by up to a week on average and easing designer–developer handoff.
Contribute to a shared design system that keeps products consistent and polished.
Designed Sehaty Online, a social network for health volunteers, which won the Silver Award for Best Website Design at the Tunisia Digital Awards 2021.
Designed high-fidelity wireframes and supported user testing for the UN World Food Programme’s Last Mile Ecosystem.
Delivered 30+ client projects, including 5+ full products such as Rizouya (job matching), RH Facile (HR dashboard) and GreenOffice, with mobile and RTL (Arabic) versions where needed.
Owned delivery from UX through UI to developer handoff, and helped lead and onboard new designers.
Taught UX fundamentals to 4 cohorts through lessons and hands-on workshops.
Guided students through a full UX project, from research to final prototype, by the end of the program.
Designed and taught the full UX course for a class of ~20 engineering students: syllabus, exercises, workshops and exams.
Ran interactive sessions that kept students engaged and practicing.

Born out of a personal need, Design Ruler is a Mac app that gives you two fullscreen overlay tools for inspecting UI: one for measuring pixel distances with automatic edge detection, and one for placing alignment guides anywhere on screen. Zoom to 4x to work pixel by pixel. Works across all monitors.
Available as a standalone menu bar app or a Raycast extension.
Open source, in active development, and totally usable.

Another itch I had to scratch. Files Shelf is a Raycast extension that lets you collect files and folders from anywhere on your Mac into a virtual “shelf,” then run batch actions: copy all to a folder, move all, or rename with prefix, suffix, numbering, or find/replace. Handles conflicts and works across volumes. Published on the Raycast Store with 280+ installs.

This was meant to be my main personal website and portfolio. I spent countless hours on it, hid many easter eggs, and polished every pixel to perfection. But when I finally got to adding case studies, the site felt over-designed, enough that I worried it was working against me. So I dropped the project and moved to the one you’re on now: based on the good old ReadCV, minimal and straight to the point.

I bought a table lamp advertised as USB-C rechargeable. It wasn’t. I liked the design, so I wanted to fix that.
The idea was simple: open it, replace the battery with a larger one and the charger module with an IP2312 chip. But since I was already in there, I thought, why not try to make it smart? So I “reverse engineered” the LED controller board and used an ESP32 to take the input and send commands to the controller, then added HomeKit support to control it from my phone. Worked great, I’m still using it daily.
I mean, of course, the GOAT! This is still my main tool for design, and probably will remain like so for a while, even with all the huge AI advancements and tools.
Where would I be without it. From small brainstorming sessions, to quick artifacts I share with the dev team, to full apps and tools, Claude (and similar tools, but I prefer Claude) is a must-have. I use it almost daily.
Rive has the edge over Lottie and other animation tools thanks to its state machine (I know that Lottie started supporting it recently, but Rive still does it better), great performance, and tiny file size. I love it, devs love it, and users probably do too.
I honestly considered replacing Figma with Framer at some point. It’s super powerful when you want to create very specific interactions, and a great tool for someone with no coding background. I now use it from time to time to design landing pages before sending them to the dev team. The community is really good too, many components and scripts are available for free.
Designed social media content and print materials that boosted event attendance and engagement, and organized an initiative to transform a neglected forest into a welcoming green space for families and children, fostering a sense of safety and community.
Designed persuasive social media visuals for a COVID-19 fact-checking project. This effort aimed to counter misinformation, educating the public about accurate health practices during the pandemic.
Co-led the organization and branding of events and workshops to share tech knowledge, attracting students and community members.
Captured the historic beauty of Kairouan, highlighting the city’s rich heritage and contributing to local tourism awareness and community pride.
